Acknowledgements
Without doubt , the single most useful set of resources
on the Fokker D.VII are the three superb Albatros anthologies.
The late Alex Imrie was reported to have been working on a history of the D.VII at the time of his death. It is to be hoped that his research will be published in due course or that some other historian will take up the challenge. The definitive history of the D.VII (and in particular the BMW-powered versions) remains to be written.
