I am indebted to Ray Rimell of Windsock Magazine for his mildly corrective comments on my description of the appearance of PC.12 in the booklet which I originally produced for the smaller scale Sopwith Triplane sets. In this I repeated superseded information which described the colour as “red-brown”. More recent research now indicates that it was more likely to have been a chocolate-brown shade.
